As mentioned in the intro, you can choose to set up your tracking as standalone pixels in our backend or via Google Tag Manager (GTM).
Setup – Google Tag Manager
If you wish to set up your Google Tag Manager on your booking site on DinnerBooking, go to our backend and proceed to the General Settings → Global Settings → Google Tag Manager.
Head to your Google Tag Manager account and copy the container ID in the top right corner.
Insert the ID into DinnerBooking and press SAVE.
Setup – Google Analytics (standalone)
In case you do not want to use Google Tag Manager and install Google Analytics to track your guest behaviour, you can easily add your Google Analytics pixel in our backend.
Head over to your Google Analytics account and copy the container ID. You can find it by proceeding to Admin à Property Settings àTracking ID or using this guide. Insert the tracking ID into DinnerBooking and press SAVE.
Setup – Pageview (standalone)
To track pageviews on your booking site on DinnerBooking, you can add your Facebook pixel etc., to our backend. For this step, you must ask support to add your pixel in the Code include section.
Setup – Conversion (standalone)
To track conversion on your booking site on DinnerBooking, you can add your Facebook pixel etc., to our backend. For this step, you must ask support to add your pixel in the Code include Confirm section.
